Uncertain: Is the skin on your hands exposed to sun more than the rest of your body? Are you using sun screen? If yes, on your hands?

i have been using hand sanitizer and all of a sudden i have discoloration around where my ring sits and the palm of my hands lines are turning dark brown. what could this be caused from?

Timing: Suggests an effect of the hand sanitizer in the form of possible inflammation that resulted in skin discoloration. Other conditions causing the discoloration cannot be ruled out. Best would be to use water and soap and not use the sanitizer that typically has a drying effect on the skin. If your hand changes persist, seeing your GP will be advisable.

Be seen: It sounds like it was put on too tight, or your arm swelled under it.  You need to be assessed immediately.

Time and bleaching: It can take a few months for skin to lighten after tanning or hyperpigmentation.  That being said, adding a topical bleaching cream like hydroquinone may speed up the lightening process.  That being said, wearing sunscreen and avoiding any uv exposure is recommended.

There : There are many things that can affect the vascular suuply to your hand and thus give your knuckles a purplish cast. They range from hand thinngs such as  the ubiquitous carpal tunnel syndrome, as some who have carpal tunnel will have coolness or coldness to their hands, to the obscure vasculitis or collagen vascular disease.

More commonly, position of the arm during activity, sleeping or even sitting at a desk can affect the circulationand thus give the changes you note.

Things such as endocrine disorders, thyroid disease and diabetes  can also affect circulation.

Get to ER now: possible circulatory issue from the fracture. Must be observed directly to make an accurate diagnosis. Additionally, although loose now, the cast may have caused compression when originally placed.

ROUGH PATCHES HANDS: Dark rough patches on hands can be a result of many things. Various strong soaps can do it. Laundry detergents are other things that you may have to change. What kind of work do you do? Do you wear gloves?
Do your patches itch? You may have an allergy to many things you are exposed to. Paints and sprays and lubricants and kerosene can be the cause. Do see a dermatologist. Do you have psoriasis?

i would say that the longer past the use of ecstacy the more you will feel normal.  Coming off of ecsatcy is not easy for some people. The diffuse overuse of your seratonin stores may feel like a horrible depression that can last a few days.
But, the most common problem on ecstacy is dehydration and that may be what you are seeing in your skin.

Frostbite does not: typically affect the entire hand unless there has been severe exposure, in that case having only one hand affected would be unusual too those are cases where both hand and both feet are affected from severe prolonged cold.  Frostbite comes in stages, mild is irritated skin, then blisters then dark dark skin which looks dead.  Circulation issues can give "blue" hands see your doctor
