Get to ER now: possible circulatory issue from the fracture. Must be observed directly to make an accurate diagnosis. Additionally, although loose now, the cast may have caused compression when originally placed.

Varies: There are a number of possibilities. Sometimes the fracture can bleed causing discoloration into the fingers, sometimes the venous return can be impaired by the position of the wrist and cast. Because it can be a sign of arterial insufficiency to the fingers, you should let your doctor know immediately.
