Timing: Suggests an effect of the hand sanitizer in the form of possible inflammation that resulted in skin discoloration. Other conditions causing the discoloration cannot be ruled out. Best would be to use water and soap and not use the sanitizer that typically has a drying effect on the skin. If your hand changes persist, seeing your GP will be advisable.
