gums, tongue, and throat hurt so much that i can barely eat. gums bleed, bad taste in throat, sores. i haven't been to the dentist in a long time.

See someone ASAP: Could be anything, you need a good oral and perhaps complete physical exam. Any recently started medications? Any recent trips to foreign countries?
On any antibiotics? Tried and new foods recently?

2 pieces of gum formed under my tongue and are connected to the bottom of my tongue and don't hurt. i was sick recently too.

Pieces of gum: May be absolutely normal anatomy that you just have not noticed before.  See your Dentist, we can't examine you in this format.  Let your dentist make sure that everything is ok.  If not, your Dentist can provide what we can't over the computer, the best treatment.

i found some food stuck in area of my gums that hurts. i can suck that area with my tongue and then feel a gap from a smal part of my gums.whatisthis?

Tissue defect: If this is a common foodtrap, then the tissue often deteriorates to form a bigger space. If you work diligently on keeping the food out (stimudent or softpik or floss) any time it gets in there AND you brush,floss, and rinse well for the next 2 weeks, then it may resolve. If not, then see your Dentist for evaluation. You may need a restoration to close the contact between the teeth. Good Luck.

Possibly unrelated: The blister can be an apthous ulcer as a result of trauma such as biting it. The swelling and pain in the gums is most likely a result of gum disease. You need a complete dental exam to truly tell what is going on. Do not ignore these symptoms as it can get worse and lead to severe infections, bone loss and tooth loss. You could also be dealing with herpes type 1 infection that is also treatable.

why is my bottom retainer causing my gums under my tongue to hurt? feels like the plastic part is pressing to hard under my tongue.

It may very well be: Is this a new retainer? It may need a tiny adjustment. When the impression was taken, the soft tissues may have been compressed a bit, resulting in a too tight fit. Call your orthodontist for a follow up.

See a dentist: If you have a wisdom tooth (18 year molar), under that gum, it may need to be removed as you are 21 years old. If the wisdom tooth has been removed, then you have overgrown gum tissue that can be easily removed by your dentist using a soft tissue dental laser.  See your dentist soon to reduce the chance of infection.

Why suffer?: No, pain is not normal.  Erupting wisdom teeth hurt, but there are solutions, like removing the flap of tissue, irrigation, topical anesthetic, extraction, etc.  See a Wisdom Tooth specialist, an Oral Surgeon, for immediate relief.

Bumps: Can't tell without visual examination.  May be normal or not.  Please call your Dentist for a look-see.
