I found some food stuck in area of my gums that hurts. i can suck that area with my tongue and then feel a gap from a smal part of my gums.whatisthis?

Tissue defect: If this is a common foodtrap, then the tissue often deteriorates to form a bigger space. If you work diligently on keeping the food out (stimudent or softpik or floss) any time it gets in there AND you brush,floss, and rinse well for the next 2 weeks, then it may resolve. If not, then see your Dentist for evaluation. You may need a restoration to close the contact between the teeth. Good Luck.
