Lucky you: Men who are going to get chest hair get it in the late teens and early twenties. The amount varies tremendously from man to men, and different women have different preferences. It is genetic and-: Hormonal. Some people are programmed genetically to have chest hair while others not. American Indians are relatively deficient in chest hair, but have normal male testosterone levels. Of course low testosterone is a factor. That is easily checked. If low, applying gels or creams of testosterone may help. The counterpoint is that many men shave chest hair!

Try minoxidil: Try topical solution of minoxidil (Rogaine or generic). If it works, it may take up to 4 months.  Remember to wear disposable gloves when applying it.

Nothing: The pattern of each person&#x27;s body hair is determined almost entirely by genetics. Little or nothing can increase hair growth. A drug called minoxidil can help a little on the scalp, but only fine fuzzy hair, probably would not help on your chest. You&#x27;ll have to live with what you have. Most important, don&#x27;t be tempted by quack remedies you can find on line, unscrupulous pharmacies or doctors, etc.

Personal preference: Shaving is fine as long as you don't cause an infection of the hair follicles.
