i play soccer. the top of my right foot is paining. i feel it's the nerve. i don't feel anything when i don't wear my tight cleats/hit ball . what to do?

Foot pain in athlete: It may be wise to get to a podiatrist so that your future athletic prowess can continue.  Pain with tight shoes/cleats may be a sign the foot is mildly swollen.

Non-steroidal: anti-inflammatory drugs would probably be beneficial to relieve the discomfort however further specialist evaluation by an orthopedic surgeon would be advisable. Sometimes small fractures do not show up on X-ray for a few weeks. There are other tests that can also be performed to evaluate your symptoms. Make a followup appointment.

sprained my foot 2 days ago while playing soccer, i've left it untreated since then, even played soccer again yesterday. is it too late to wrap?

Never 2 late 2 wrap: Do the wrap after the foot has been elevated 4 a while so the swelling is minimal. 

Do this especially if U R having trouble with it. A trip 2 Ur ortho is not a bad idea if it continues 2 B a problem.

Ankle bruise: The opponent kicked your ankle?  Welcome to soccer! It's probably a bruise or sprain. No playing or running for 5 days. If the pain gets worse or swells please go to your doctor. Also in the future for this type of injury please apply cold to the area immediately as long as the skin is intact. I use a cold soda can, bag of ice or bag of frozen vegetables when I have a sports collision.

Can he walk on it?: Put ice on it tonight, if he is limping or not able to bear weight on it tomorrow i would get it looked at.

Foot pain: This can be something called metatarsalgia.  In reality it has a biomechanical cause .  There may be contracted digits or bunion formation or a limb length discrepancy , or loss of fat pad,  to name a few causes.   See your podiatrist for assistance.
