L-arginine and: High quality and strong enough (50 % epa&amp;dha) fish oil are good products but high arginine can raise prob of herpes outbreak.  Avoid arginine containing food such as nuts and chocolate.  Lysine supplement will help balance arginine out.  Fish oil studies show benefit for cardio, joints, skin, eyes, and inflammation. It has also been noted to cause prostate cancer. It is true that it lowers triglycerides and raises HDL but it has not lowered the risk for strokes or heart attacks. No benefit has been demonstrated except to those who sell it.

Use a disease modifying agent, take enough Vit D-3 to get blood levels about 50-70 ng/ml, follow a low fat/low salt diet, do aerobic exercise about thrice weekly.
