i am 37 weeks pregnant. fetal weight is 3.054kgs. am 5ft and 56 kgs. i had a previous c-section (reason cpd) 7 yrs back. wat are my chances for vbac?

Depends: This depends on many factors. Of patients like yourself, more than half will deliver vaginally. That being said there is a significant risk that you will have another cesarean section. The catastrophic risk of uterine rupture also exists and is on the order of 1%. For a full evaluation of your risk see your obstetrician.

37 weeks and my fetus had dropped but i still feel so breathless?

Breathless: At 37 weeks, even with descent of the fetal head into the pelvis, the body of the fetus is still occupying a large part of your abdomen, and restricts the full movement  of the diaphragm muscle, preventing full respiration (limiting oxygen from getting into your blood stream. This causes shortness of breath and is very normal at this stage of pregnancy.

is sleeping too much at 37 weeks (the last trimester) bad for the unborn fetus?

what is the normal heart rate for a fetus at 37 weeks. my daughter's heart rate has usually been 130-140 max. now its 160-163. ?

Ask your OB please: Normal range 120-160-170  your OB can do an ultrasound with a biophyscial profile and a monitor strip called an nst if necessary to make sure everything is ok, what would be more worrisome would be if the ht rate keeps increasing , so call your OB  any serious problems at this point in your pregnancy- u would need to be delivered.

i'm 37 weeks gest. preg.& my doc recommends to make a c/s next week since fetus is leg first. no med. issues. pls advise if baby will be ful term then?

Preg dating: In a well dated pregnancy, it is considered full term at 37 weeks. In the United States it is standard of care not to deliver prior to 39 weeks.

at 37 weeks pregnant tsh is 5.5 and 3t4 is .77 how does that effect my fetus?

It is probably ok: A slightly elevated TSH indicates mild thyroid failure. Early in pregnancy, even that can affect the fetal development, although changes are probably minimal. At the 37th weeks, the fetus has a fully functioning thyroid, so that slight hypothyroidism in the mother is not expect to cause any effect.

could fetal exposure at 37 weeks to an extremely loud jet flying really low overhead lead to a brain bleed?  i was outside today and couldn't avoid

Your baby is: floating in amniotic fluid that helps to protect him or her. Would not anticipate that this would lead to fetal brain injury. Take care &amp; congratulations.

Ob-Gyn can evaluate: A pregnant woman in the third trimester who has a noticeable drop in baby movement should not wait to call her doctor to discuss the issue.  The doctor will decide if more monitoring and more evaluation is needed, to be sure that things are still ok.

in the US: We do not measure head size but estimated fetal wt and in the us if u do not want to labor u can have an elective csection, please discuss with your ob, another sign is is the head down in the vagina or is it floating in the pelvis , if the head is not dropping that is usually a sign it may be too large for you, everyone has a different size  limit, your doc should be able to determine that.

i am 37 weeks pregnant and did a scan that says fetal abdominal ascites and bilateral fetal scrotal hydrocele were noticed?

Here are some...: I would no jump into the conclusion by the one ultrasound image; it is reasonable to wait and see with repeating another ultrasound in 4-5 weeks for comparison as long as fetal growth and your healthy state in line with a normally expected pregnancy and since it is hard to do anything about it if any fetal congenital abnormality has formed.
