i have soreness in the inner corner of my right eye it does not go bright red just a little pink. alllergy tablets dont touch it?

Accepted Answer

Irritation?: Stop any new soaps, makeup, fragrances, or body care products which may be causing irritation.  If no better in a day or so, see a doc.

my right temple hurts and sore to touch feels tight as well  feels sore when closing my eye as well should i be worried?

Worrying won't help: I cannot tell you not to worry.  You may do that no matter what I say.  It may be a sign of stress or something like that.

You might want to make an appointment with your doctor and talk to him/her about your concerns.  He/she would do a physical examination and ask you about other symptoms like: headache, fever, jaw pain, muscle aches, and others.

Make an appointment to see him/her.

i have a bigger than a pea sized lump at the side of my head in line with my eye, i've had no injury and it's sore to touch, i've had headaches also. ?

Depends on age.: If you are over 60, there may be concern for inflammation of the temporal artery causing the lump and headache. If under 60, it may be a superficial blood clot. Either way, you should see a doctor in person for further evaluation and treatment.

i have a swollen lower eye lid, no lumps or spots but very sore to touch and hurts when i blink, mainly in the outer corner. even my eye lashes hurt, ?

How Long?: Symtoms most likely a stye in that a " bump" isn't always palpated. They can become quite painful and cause a lot of local inflammation. A key is how long has it been going on?  Eye lid cancer usually is something that is apparent on the skin or lid margin but you should have it checked out by a physician.

Facial tenderness: This could be a medical or a dental issue. There is no way to know for sure without additional information and a clinical examination.
See your medical doctor and/or your dentist for an examination.

Cellulitis: You probably have cellulitis involving your nose. You need to see your dermatologist for treatment.

Possible blocked: Tear duct but not possible to tell for sure without ophthalmology exam. See oculoplastics preferably.

Possible sinusitis: It sounds like you might have a sinus infection.  You should be examined and might need an antibiotic prescription if you do have an infection.  Good luck

Lots of things: Hard to know for sure just with "soreness" in eyeball. Have your eyes evaluated by an ophthalmologist. The only sure way is to examine you. Artificial tears may be tried and if effective, you probably have surface related irritation. Make an appointment.

Warm application: You could be having muscle pain; try warm application over neck and temples for a few minutes (5-7 minutes) and see if it helps.  You will most likely benefit from tylenol (acetaminophen) or ibuprofen.  If it doesnt improve, contact your pcp.
