Infection: Sounds like an infection either in the nostril or the sinuses. Either way doctor's exam needed to find the cause. Hair follicles witinh the nose, can get infected. If there is nasal congestion and postnasal drainage, it is more likely sinus infection. Possible remedy if it's just in nostril or infected hair follicle would be a Bacitracin ointment applied in nostril opening 2-3 times a day.
