i had a maxillary sinus surgery 4 months ago and about a got to have very dark circles under and inner sides of both my eyes, can they be related?

It may be...: It may be a result of congestion/swelling as a result of the surgery, however, 4 months is a very long healing period.  My suggestion is to have a follow up visit with the surgeon to ensure you are healing as expected.

What eye problems?: I was not able to see what eye problems you have. Well, sinus surgery  is risky to the eye and brain, lacrimal duct and smell.

Accepted Answer

Yes: The sinuses are located close to the eyes and it is not uncommon to have some mild ocular symptoms following this surgery.

just had sinus surgry & septo. think i have pink eye. ent said its normal. is it normal to have pink eye after sinus surgery?

Accepted Answer

No: Common to have some eye irritation that could present as eye redness.  However, if you are having tears that fall down your face, I would see your surgeon to ensure your tear duct isn't blocked from some packing placed during surgery.

had endoscopic sinus surgery about a month ago. is it normal to have have green snot or should i contact ent. i have a little pressure under eyes?

: Color in nasal drainage usually represents debris added by surface germs residing in the nasal mucus. By itself, the green color can be benign or an early indication of in infection developing. If you are not in pain you can monitor the drainage. If pain comes on in the cited areas call your doc.

Since : Since he has such persistent symptoms, I am glad that he is going back in to be seen.  He may need a scope procedure to look into the sinus areas and see what the problem is.  I assume he is taking a decongestant as well; if not he should be.  If nothing is seen by scoping him, he may indeed need another ct scan to evaluate his persistent symptoms.

my er does not handle ear problems, my family doc (pcp) refuses to treat me with my ears/nose or eyes (i've had sinus surgery, eye surgery & ear surgery), once any specialist has touched me, she refuses to treat me. my last specialist has left the country

ENT?: What about your doctor who performed your surgeries? I am assuming this was an ENT (Ear, nose and throat doctor). This would be the type of doctor I would recommend visiting.

a couple of weeks ago i had sinus surgery.(head sinus drained) now theres a massive bump where the stitches used to be and i have a lot of pain ?

Stitch reaction: This is a very common reaction where the body tries to attack is stitch as if it’s a foreign body, which of course it is. Then scar tissue can develop so I recommend your surgeon inject kenalog into the area to prevent scar tissue development and reduce inflammation
