Slowly, deliberately: Like any other abdominal surgery, cesarean section requires >3-6 weeks of recovery time before engaging in any exercise regimen. Diet and exercise are always recommended for weight loss (in that order). If you breastfeed, you will likely shed the extra weight more quickly, although diet and lactation do not mix well (may decrease your milk production). Swimming, treadmill and stationary bike work!

Maybe a hernia: See you OB doctor to get checked for an incisional hernia. May not be, but better to get it checked out. Timing of appointment depends on severity of symptoms. Hope this helps!

Pain In LUQ: I bet the pain has nothing to do with the c/s.  I would see a GI doc and see if the pain is in their field.  If it is from the c/s, it is prob from scar tissue but you would not expect that to cause pain in the upper abdomen.  Hope this helps!

See OB MD: You need to go back to the OB MD who did the C/section to evaluate the stitches and make sure that everything is healing normally internally.

Possible: Criteria for diagnosis of PCOS, which mandate the presence of two of the following three findings—hyperandrogenism, ovulatory dysfunction, and polycystic ovaries—plus the exclusion of other diagnoses that could result in hyperandrogenism or ovulatory dysfunction. I am sure it sounds complicated to you, please discuss it with your physician in person.

? vacuum exercise ?: Your post is confusing. Pregnancy stretches out the belly "strap" muscles people talk about as the "abs". Shortening these will require abdominal exercises. You might go the easy route with a product by Slendertone that uses electronic stimulation to tone up these muscles. A visit with an exercise coach could also teach you what to do. Getting back to a pre-pregnancy weight is also important.

It's left over: expanded flab from the pregnancy.  Sometimes it is called baby fat, but whatever it is called in order to get rid of it you will have to do some aerobic and stretching exercises, along with isotonics to "tone" your rectus abdominis and latissimus dorsi.  There is no other way around it.  Unless you want a "tummy tuck" which does not guarantee to keep it away forever unless you exercise too.

Wound infection: The smell may not just come from trapped moisture and wound secretions with skin-skin contact, but from a wound infection in deeper layers of the incision. Have it checked out and don't wait until you run an elevated body temperature.
