i have been taking phetermine for a while now and never had any problems. today i am having a high pulse of 130, chest tightness, and light pain.

Phetermine: What are you taking it for? What else issuing on? Fever? Bleeding? Hot in OK and you have not turned on AC? How are you counting pulse? Best to do it with a stethoscope over the heart. Is the pulse regular or skipping beats. Any Hx of high thyroid. Happy to do 2nd opinion.

Go see doc: The bottom numbers of your blood presure are moderately elevated and not surprising since sick.Also if taking any decongestants that will increase the BP.with this chest tightness and the cough going on for a month need to see someone and get evaluated.Any viral infection should have started getting better at the 10 day mark or sooner although they can lag sometimes.see someone soon.

Maybe: "chest tightness" is a worrisome symptom because it is often used to describe what people feel when their heart isn't getting enough circulation (angina). If one has angina, high blood pressure, which forces the heart to work harder, will make it worse. If the chest tightness is due to something else (say, indigestion for example), hbp won't affect it.

Medicine indication: The albuterol can cause those symptoms, but not always. It's possible it could mimic the symptoms of irritable heart syndrome but should not cause damage to the heart. Albuterol is not commonly used as an allergy drug unless you get allergy-induced asthma/bronchospasm. If your allergic symptoms are more nose and eyes, albuterol will not be helpful relief. Try an antihistamine or nasal steroid Rx.

Yes: I would stop &amp; inform your treating doctor of the situation. Anytime you can associate an asthma flare up with something you do you should stop it &amp; seek the guidance of your doc. An asthma attack is a lot more serious than anxiety/slight BP increase.
