No easy answer: There is no easy answer, because if there is a malignancy there, it can only get worse, and the longer you wait, the greater chance that it will progress and become more difficult to treat successfully. Usually the delays are measured in days not months.

Biopsy: You have had the right diagnostic procedures done and should wait for the results. Odds one way or another are not meaningful for your results.

A pre-cancerous : State.  Endometrial hyeperplasia is a risk factor for endometrial cancer and should be addressed.  Cancer does not give many warnings and we should heed the ones we get.

Endometrial dx: Endometrial hyperplasia is not "sudden," it is a progressive thickening of the lining of the uterus due to estrogen effect.  Early phases are called "simple hyperplasia." this can progress if untreated to "complex hyperplasia" or "atypical hyperplasia" - if left untreated, it can progress to endometrial carcinoma.  Treatment is progesterone hormones to counteract the estrogen.

is it normal to take medroxyprogesterone every day continuously to treat endometrial hyperplasia with atypia?

Yes: With that diagnosis there is a 30% chance they are wrong and you actually have cancer. So normally you would take that medicine every single day for 3 months then repeat a hysteroscopy with d;c to make sure there is no sign of cancer or pre-cancer. Very serious issue.

No: Endometrial hyperplasia refers to a condition of excessive proliferation of cells of the endometium.  Endometrial cancer refers to endometrial cells that have turned cancerous.  The treatment and management of these two conditions is very different.
