Different: Eczema or atopic dematitis is a chronic skin condition  that involves scaly and itchy rashes in which you can use different kind of steroids cream to treat it. However, with skin cancer depends on what types-they need to get biopsy , excision and even surgery . Dermatologist can treat with either of the above condition.

Lots of possibilities: Single lesions in dermatology can be a lot of things. Not typically eczema (which is a rash). If you have a lot of concerns, you can be checked. Until then, you can look at the size and if it keeps getting bigger, then show it to your doctor.

Ezcema and BCC: Eczema usually involves several parts of the body and is itchy. A basal cell skin cancer is usually one spot. To be sure, see your dermatologist.

There is no way to: know without seeing the lesions. bruises will go away, skin cancer will not. If a lesion stays more than a month I would have a board certified dermatologist take a look

It is not skin cance: Skin Cancer does not itch or feel hot. The patch on your ear is more likely to be a symptom of eczema if you have had that problem before. It is not necessary to go to your derm unless this problem is getting bigger or worse after another week of waiting and watching.

Skin biopsy: Wait for a biopsy result.  It may be treatable reactive condition, not a cancerous.

Find triggers: With eczema, try to find the things that make your symptoms worse.
Also keep well hydrated, keep the skin hydrated from within.
Avoid lotions and soaps that are scented and extreme temperatures?
As far as lotions try a variety, see what your skin likes. Start with things like aqua phor, eucerin, vane cream, nivea. Don't forget a light soap, dove un scented, glycerin or castile soap.

Annoying, not scary: Looks like it could be fungal (like athletes foot), eczema, or irritation. Doesn't look like melanoma. If it flares back up, won't go away, or gets bigger, have it checked out.

i have a wound in my suspected eczema skin, i unintentionally scratch the skin hard that it creates open wounds, i was half asleep that time. now few days have passed my would is still not closing.what are some tips that might help. it is in my groin?

Bacitracin: Keep the area clean and dry. Apply Bacitracin three times daily. Watch for swelling,pus and increased redness.
