For mass, you want to do resistance training, some sport or work that involves working individual muscles to their greatest strength. Men differ greatly in the speed with which they put on muscle bulk, and no food can give it to you. Most women want a man with little body fat. I trust malabsorption is not a concern. Your physician can help.

Nothing drastic: If you are 5'8" and 145 lbs, then your weight is normal.  Your body will find a way to prevent you from being "underweight". If your diet is ok, look at your activities/exercise level and see if you can augment that aspect of your routine.
