It's the rice: Starch is a type of sugar that provokes an immediate Insulin response which typically overshoots the required amount necessary to lower the blood sugar. This leads to an abrupt drop in blood sugar, although not necessarily a low value, which makes one feel weak and/or hungry. Try leaving out the rice or replacing it with a legume such as beans, a different type of starch.

Not really: It may have significant calories but of course is very tasty.  Compute the corn calories in the context of your basic diet and you should do fine.

Depends on…: What else you're eating & what type of work/exercise you're doing. Egg yolks contain a fair amount of cholesterol, partly offset by lecithin in whites. A healthy diet of colorful fruits, veggies, whole grains, lean meat, dairy coupled with vigorous exercise &/or heavy physical labor may counter artery-clogging effects. Be sure to drink plenty of fluids to flush kidneys due to high protein.

In moderation: As with all things in life... do everything in moderation. Beef is fine, but that depends on how much beef one eats over time. For example, 4 ounces of beef every day is fine. But, 40 ounces of beef every day is an abnormally huge amount. Life is about balance. Balance is what matters.

No harm: If you take the recommended dose (usually one to two caplets depending on the brand), there is little or no harm in that.

Possibly: There can be a link with antidepressants and weight gain.  However, there is also a link with depression and weight gain.  It is possible that your depression is not fully treated.   It is also possible you have something else going on and should speak with your primary care md about this.

: No it is not-in general. But for people with certain kind of stone disease eg uric acid it is not advisable to have a high protein diet

Balanced diet: It is better to eat a balanced diet plus regular exercise to lose wt. corn does not have much protein.

You Are Eggceptional: You're on the right track.Egg whites are chock full of protein and easy to digest. Egg yolks are full of a lot of cool nutrients plus protein. The big dif is cholesterol, which is a complex topic. So until it's straightened out I eat the whites of six eggs and just one of the yolks. i take multiple prescribed pills daily and the ones i took today seem to have lodged in my esophagus and its causing very bad chest pain for me. ive tried everything ive drank heaps of water and tried eating bread. what else can i do?

: You may have reflux consider adding  omeprazole to your regimen but do to the acute nature of the chest pain  that you are having now  I would seek medical attention at a clinic / pediatrician today .
