Try hot compresses: Maybe you could try some warm moist compresses but you probably will need to see an ophthalmologist to have it surgically removed.

: By UPTODATE: over 50 percent of patients may experience spontaneous resolution of ganglion cysts and do not require intervention. In you case because of the discomfort, you can have the cyst aspirated if you do not want surgery. However, more than half will recur within a year.

No: Cysts don't normally turn malignant.

Overuse: As inflammation and fluid build up from overuse ganglion cysts can grow.  If it a problem get it checked, drained, or removed.

Can't: Other than accutane, it is difficult to prevent these cysts from enlarging. Preventing infection may temporarily help minimize a flare.

Conjunctival cyst: It sounds like a conjunctival inclusion cyst, which can get larger and more irritating. Sometimes they are excised for this reason.  Mostly they are asymptomatic and may be left alone and observed. Poking it with a needle is not advisable an pd also not likely to eliminate it anyway.

i had a ct found arachnoid cyst 3.8 cm in may. in june had mri cyst was 4.6 cm. is it getting bigger or is it just difference in imaging and technique?

could be either: It can be hard to directly compare ct to MRI at times. I would recommend getting another delayed MRI for comparison.

: Try to apply warm compresses (washcloth with very warm or hot water,but not so hot to burn) several times/day. Don’t squeeze/pop it. The compresses may lessen the discomfort and may allow it to safely drain.If you have a fever, redness extending from the area, or it’s getting larger or not improving, please see your doctor. You may need to have it professionally drained and may need an antibiotic.

in 2015 cyst on liver was 13mm on ct scan in 2018 it was 0.9 cm on ultrasound in 2019 it was 11mm are these all the same sizes or is it getting bigger?

Cyst: 2015 13 mm, 2018 9 mm ( 10 mm per cm), 2019 11 mm.  Three different measurements of same cyst (assuming you only have one).
Appears it is not getting bigger. Remember when they take a measurement of the cyst it is a sliver of the object and that is where your different sizes come from.

how do epididymal cysts get larger? what makes them big, what can worsen them?

The cyst is filled -: -with cells that we shed daily in normal life. They are lost but friction from sheets, clothing &amp; clothing &amp; bathing. The cells trapped in the cyst are trapped inside but they still grow so the cyst gets larger from the dead cells trapped in it. Troublesome cysts can be removed.
