My wife has a dull pain in the middle of her chest and seems to go around to her back. it feels like a pressure from inside. she says she feels like she needs to take a deep breath all the time. she has a stressful job.

Hello, i noted that this was classified under cardiology as the specialty.  There is very little medical information provided.  Although these symptoms could be musculo skeletal, pulmonary or from other causes, i will list some of the symptoms of a mycocardial infarction (heart attack).  Chest pain, tightness, squeezing or fullness is the most common presentation.  However the pain can also present in the upper back, the upper middle abdomen, jaw, head, teeth or in the arms (left more than right).  One could have nausea, vomiting or it could feel like indigestion or heartburn.  Feeling short of breath, sweating and just feeling out of sorts can also occur. About a fourth of people have no significant symptoms during a heart attack.  If this is a new onset acute problem i would treat it as if it could be a heart attack and call 911. If it is a chronic problem that has been around for quite a while, would recommend that she be seen, but not as expeditiously.

If you have SVT they would know if they have access to your heart rhythms.  Sustained rhythm disturbances can cause issues including chest pain from not enough oxygen to heart.  220 - your age is max heart rate.  If beneath that speed at your at you really shouldn't be having significant chest pain.  Young girl with that I would think about Wolf-Parkinson-White

I have been having heart chest pain. it is dull pain up to a full day or sharp pain lasting 10 minutes. i have had my heart checked out and it seems fine. i was born with a small hole in my heart and my t wave is inverted but they see no issue?

Best would be to obtain a second opinion as to the cause of the chest pain.  Structural defects at birth can change, so another pediatric cardiologist might be appropriate.  Some chest pain can also derive from inflammation of the lining of the lung cavity or thickened mucus from a recent upper respiratory infection ( "pleurisy").

be evaluated by your doc.  It MAY be simple muscle tightness or something more but a doc needs to make that determinations.  The presentation of cardiac issues w/women is different from that of men so please don't look on the net or talk to well meaning folks because it may be mis-information.  Peace and good health.

Given your young age and gender, it is unlikely to be a significant cardiac problem. However your symptoms warrant an evaluation by your physician, preferably the same physician who examined you in the past.

Chest pain and shortness of breath means you need to go to an emergency room now.  There are lots of possible causes including coronary artery disease, pneumonia, pericarditis, pneumothorax, gastroesophageal reflux disease, costochondritis, rib fracture, panic attack, anxiety...
