what other foods will help me gain my iron levels /hg part fro red meat or liver ? also what are the best fruits to eat and avoid for minting blood ?

Iron rich foods: Foods such a leafy green vegetables (kale), lean red meats, beans, shellfish, nuts and fortified cereals are high in iron.  The iron will be absorbed more readily if eaten with foods that contain Vitamin C such as bell peppers, parsley, broccolli, orange juice, kiwi, cooked tomatoes and strawberries.

my blood test showed anemia but after 6mths daily iron tablets no change. i regularly eat red meat, green veg etc & on the pill. what could cause this?

Need more info: What was your hemoglobin at the beginning and end of six months? How much iron did you take? Could it be that you are losing blood in the stomach or intestine? Could it be that your anemia is not due to iron deficiency? Could you have thalassemia trait that looks like iron deficiency? It would be prudent to discuss all of this with your doctor.

i've read too much red meat is unhealthy, but that it's also the best source of absorbable iron. how much can/should i eat a week for sufficient iron?

Iron pill: Rather than relying on red meat, you may take oral iron supplement available over the counter. If constipation tends to be an issue, take the pill with meals and you may take a fiber laxative like Metamucil. 
For good health - Have a diet rich in fresh vegetables, fruits, whole grains, milk and milk products, nuts, beans, legumes, lentils and small amounts of lean meats. Avoid saturated fats. Drink enough water daily, so that your urine is mostly colorless. Exercise at least 150 minutes/week and increase the intensity of exercise gradually. Do not use tobacco, alcohol, weed or street drugs in any form. 
Practice safe sex.

NO: Your blood won't thicken, but red meat, as well as dark green, leafy vegetables, can increase your iron content and increase your blood count. But, it won't be thicker. Interesting concept, though. Good luck.

i cooked ground beef. but sink and utensils have red meat/blood on them. chances of e. coli? how do i clean kitchen after cooking red meat?

Ordinary cleansers: To get "burger E coli", you've got to swallow a good mouthful or two of undercooked, unhygienically-ground burger. The tiny number of nasty E coli bacteria that might actually be present aren't a realistic danger. What's critical is the size of the inoculum.

Not necessarily: Anemia can be caused by so many factors. You probably are referring to the anemia that are caused by deficiency of  nutrients i.e. Iron or vit b12. In addition to red meat, there are a lot of other foods that are rich on vit B12 and iron - for instance- other kind of meat , poulty, egg, milk- have some amount of vit b12. Spinach, beets, beans have are rich in iron. See your doctor for evaluation.

5yo girsl iron is 164, & norm is 28-93 ug/dl according to lab.takes no vitamins & has no iron supplemented food & very little red meat. i'm concerned!

Could be normal: Normal serum iron level ranges from 22 to 184 ug/dl.  Suggest to repeat same test at different lab.

i have recently had my spleen removed and diagnosed with a rare blood disorder called hlh, can i still eat red meat and drink?

Habit: Yes, you can still eat red meat - just in moderation.
 No, i would not advice you to drink- not only because of the hlh but also because drinking alcohol is a bad habit to do- just like smoking.
