No: More commonly due to spasm in lower colon.  However, sudden change in stool caliber, "pencil thin" stools, cramps, bleeding, nausea, weight loss need evaluation. Ongoing symptoms need evaluation. At the least, this should involve a doctor visit, perhaps other tests.

23 .f no cancer history. since 2 days inconsistency in bm. i go once a day but find hard to release. lil narrow stools. got gas.no blood colon cancer?

Unlikely: A diagnosis of cancer of the intestines at 23 yr of age is very unusual. If you are constipated and there is  larger piece of stool blocking  passage of stool, this may cause thinner stools. Try to have more fiber in your diet and stay hydrated.

Um: Colon cancer could be but not the first thing to consider. You could have urinary issues, stones, infection, irritable bowel. I would see your doctor for a full history and physical. Good luck

Unlikely : Best test would be a colonoscopy for your symptoms or at least a sigmoidoscopy. Usually if a colon cancer had symptoms a year ago those symptoms would have progressed over the ensuing 12 months and by now it would have been obvious by your symptoms and ct scan.

Not always: No, thin or narrow stools do not always indicate presence of colon cancer, but that is one of the causes. Partial bowel obstruction or other tumors can cause this as well, but these are worst case scenarios. Irritable bowel syndrome can also be a cause. If this happens sometimes it's ok. Consistent stools like this should be evaluated further by your doctor, especially if it's a change for you.

Hematochexia: Negative sigmoidoscopy and CT sacn of pelvis and Abdomen. May need a full colonoscopy doubt colon cancer for 3 years without significant progression. Other cause like IBD more likely

Yes: Colonoscopy is not the ideal way to evaluate for colon cancer.  The most accurate test is a colonoscopy.  Contact a gastroenterologist to set this up.

Possible lesion: In situ adeno unrelated unless some for of radiation employed that could narrow distal bowel.  Narrowing of stool suggests that there is some constriction of bowel causing a narrowing of the lumen and thus the stool.  Blood does not have to be present but relying on a gp rectal not satisfactory.  Sigmoidoscopy at a minimum and colonoscopy more accepted for this problem.

i did a ct scan came back negative for diverticulitis but showed a narrowing of the colon. 3cm. other organs are ok. does it mean i have colon cancer? i have no blood in stool but i had two episode of complete blockage with vomiting. colonoscopy next

Have a diet rich in fresh vegetables, fruits, whole grains, milk and milk products, nuts, beans, legumes, lentils and small amounts of lean meats. Avoid saturated fats. Drink enough water daily, so that your urine is mostly colorless. Exercise at least 150 minutes/week and increase the intensity of exercise gradually. Do not use tobacco, alcohol, weed or street drugs in any form. 
Practice safe sex, if you have sex.

It depends: Rectal bleeding can be caused from hemorrhoids(commonest cause) or by colon cancer. So an examination is required to find the exact cause. Any rectal bleeding is a signal to go to your doctor for a complete examination to find the cause and treat it accordingly.
