Antibiotics: The question is not which one to choose.  The right questions are what has my doctor prescribed and will i take it.  I assume you have both of these left over from some other infection.  If that is the case then dispose of them in a responsible way.

Yes: Yes. As long as you do not have an allergy to it or penicilin. One cap three times a day and call your dentist.

Not Necessarily: Dental infections can take a while to subside. What procedure was performed? The dentist who is treating you and prescribed the antibiotics should be consulted to have that area reevaluated.

Do not self medicate: You should call a dentist for treatment. Antibiotics do not fix teeth.. Dentists do. The problem will only get worse if you avoid seeking care. Please call for an appointment.

Hard to give %: A failing root canal tx can be successfully retreated. Sometimes, it also takes a surgical procedure called an apicoectomy, which is performed to clean out the bone and seal the canal(s) from the outside-in.

Even after all of this, the tooth can still fail.

Depends: Varies between 7-10 days, assuming that you are on the correct antibioticm dose of antibiotic, metabolsm and/or other underlying medical conditions.

Why save 3rd molar?: #32 is not easy to reach, difficult to clean, and extraordinary hard to endodontically treat successfully.  There must be extenuating circumstances for you to try (this hard) to keep a tooth that most people have removed in their teen years?  But, if a re-treatment is called for- then my one suggestion is to defer to an endodontist.  If a specialist tells you it is worth repairing, then proceed.

so i have a tooth abcess that looks like its ready to bust im on keflex but its got like little red lines on the pus ball is that normal?

Okay if not worse: The pus ball is an abscess, likely a gum abscess. If it is very painful or getting larger it might be better to have your dentist lance it and drain it. If it's not too painful then the antibiotics should be fine. Gargling with salt water will help. 
Hopefully you aren't in too much pain.
