what does mean it mean when you have a knot behind your left ear and its hard and dont move does it mean you have cancer please help?

: It is not feasible to provide a meaningful opinion without additional history, physical examination and may be some tests. What you are feeling may be the normal mastoid process. You may watch and wait, if the "Knot" doubles in size, ulcerates, other knots appear, you lose weight, get fever it would be prudent to see a doctor. Wish you good health!

is one enlarged gland that is moveable and doesn't hurt at all in my neck close to my ears mean cancer or do u have to have more than one to be cancer?

Check out: Cancer can start with one and progress, but other things can cause node enlargement. Possible ear or throat infection. Exam and lab work will tell.

pimple thing at the opening of ear canal. every now and then i touch or pick it. now it seems swollen and my ear hurts in that spot. going to go to urgent care tn. what can it be? what can i do in the mean time? afraid i have ear cancer?

: This could be infected. Glad you are getting medical attention. This is not a sign of cancer. Meanwhile you can apply warm compresses a few times/day (washcloth with very warm water) and try not to rub or pick at it.

little pea size lump on ear lobe, no pain. been there for about 2 weeks. i never knew you are meant to clean your ears and my ears always feel oily. cyst? im hoping its not cancer. if it is cyst. what are good home remedies. i also have acne?

: Not a cancer.  This is probably a cyst.  I would leave it alone.  Check with your PCP for possible removal.  I would not put a Q-tip in your ear canal.  There are some kits in your local pharmacy that provide ear canal irrigation.  Some people use water diluted hydrogen peroxide for an ear canal rinse.

my ent doctor scoped me in my throat and up my nose and checked my ears with a tool he said no pre cancer does that mean no oral cancer ?

Typically, head and neck cancer stages are early, locally advanced or distant spread. The process involves detailed exams (using laryngoscopy too); scans (ct, MRI or pet) and sometimes multiple biopsies.

Possibly: Lung cancer may spread outside the lung either locally or via blood or lymph channels. A lump on your head may or may not be related but it should be checked by a physician and may need to be biopsied depending on what it looks and feels like.

Cancer head and neck: Cancer has usually moved (metastasized) to lymph nodes as lymph flows out of primary tumor and into lymph nodes as it tries to get back to venous system.

Yes: Hpv is one of the factor in oropharyngeal cancers, alcohol and tobacco being more important. It is a sexually transmitted disease but oral infections is acquired usually through kissing, which is generally not considered sexual activity.
