Pimple thing at the opening of ear canal. every now and then i touch or pick it. now it seems swollen and my ear hurts in that spot. going to go to urgent care tn. what can it be? what can i do in the mean time? afraid i have ear cancer?

This could be infected. Glad you are getting medical attention. This is not a sign of cancer. Meanwhile you can apply warm compresses a few times/day (washcloth with very warm water) and try not to rub or pick at it.
