No!: Breast milk is made of specialized fats, proteins, & carbohydrate complexes that are easy for a baby's digestive system to "break down" & process. High digestibility of breast milk enables infants to digest/absorb nutrients of breast milk more easily than those on infant formula. Because babies digest breast milk quickly & efficiently, they feed more often than babies who are fed formula.

i have stop breastfeeding and i haven't been really having a appetite, do i still need to eat even thought i'm not hungry.

Yes and no: As long as you are taking in adequate fluids to pee at least every 6 hours and are able to function well, you can probably listen to your body and let it "reset" your appetite to match your new circumstances.Multiple small balanced snacks over the day may do the trick rather than feeling you must follow a regular meal pattern.

Cereal: Start with one simple food at a time.Generally rice cereal,slowly increase amount from 1 tablespoon to 4 tablespoon a serving--mixed with breast milk and spoon-fed.If well tolerated try oatmeal cereal,then veggies one by one and last fruits.Remembe breast milk is still the most important food.

This could be : sign of insulin resistance/hypoglycemia. Testing with your doctor is appropriate, as this could be a precursor to diabetes, if left untreated.

If you are struggling with getting baby to latch and concerned she is not getting enough nutrition, that can worsen your mood. You should talk to your OB to be sure it is not postpartum depression requiring talk therapy or medication. Also, be sure to take care of yourself - nap and eat and drink more every day.

Hungry baby: First of all do you have enough breast milk. Give your baby the breast. After20-30 minutes, if he takes more than 1-2 ounces you dont have enough breast milk. Secondly are you burping frequently, and third at five weeks he may have colic, in which case swaddle him or put him in a swing after feeding.

Burp frequently: Try burping you baby frquently, like every half ounce  with a bottle and 10 minutes after starting breast feeding. This eay you reiieve any gas the baby may have as well as his discomfort. Burping also gives him more room for more feeding.
