Trauma systems perform primary then secondary then close monitoring and follow up to specifically catch missed and delayed presentations of injuries. Your internal organs do NOT have the same nerve sensation as your skin.  Organs have pressure sensors and more rudimentary pain fibers. Be well.

Persistent pain, like you describe should be evaluated. Okay to check in with your doc. A ct scan abd, chest, pelvis will help with finding fluid collections, bone fractures, other diagnosis originally not made. Take friend with you. Be well.
