Could a rough ultrasound tech caused the placental abruption? how hard does the abdominal trauma have to be?

No: The abdominal trauma doesn't have to be super severe, but an ultrasound examination definitely would not be enough. Hope this helps!

NO: The baby is well protected in the uterus, with double shock absorbers of the amniotic fluid and the mom's abdominal wall. It takes a much more significant injury than a rough ultrasound tech to cause abruption.
