Weight loss: Weight gain  depends on your total calorie consumption for a day  in relation to calorie expenditure ( i.E daily activity and excercise )

banyans do have a high glycemic index and 1 serving of medium banana is equivalent to 2 servings of carb i.e. 30 grams

you might want to add half a banana instead of 1 to your shake and exercise more and watch your total calorie intake for the entire day.

Not really: There's some protein and plenty of other stuff. You'll build mass by serious resistance training plus getting adequate protein in whatever form (1 gm quality / complete protein per pound of body weight, with 20 gm after a good workout). Creatine will help; everyone i know who has tried Anabolic steroids has gotten results but been sorry.

Protein and sugar: After a hard work out your body needs protein and some sugar (glucose).  You should try not  to eat fat and /or a huge amount of sugar.
Try to find a protein shake that provides this balance.  Non fat milk and a banana both provide some glucose without the fat content. I worry that your frozen shake has too much  sugar and fat,  which would would counter the affect of your workout.

i like this peanut butter(2 tablespoons)  and banana(2) shake(lactose free milk and ice) in the mornings, i am currently treating h. pylori. will this help me or not make it worse? is it healthy? is it digestion friendly?

SHOULD BE HEALTHY: Sounds pretty healthy and should be alright. H Pylori is a bacterial infection of the stomach and they treat with regimen of antibiotics and also acid blockers and coat the stomach as well. This seems as though it is bland enough.

Pain meds: If you are taking narcotic pain medications like codeine, vicodin, Percocet can slow your GI tract.  Possibly causing the distention.

Exercise: any added exercise can help you lose weight. i would advise 60 mins of exercise 4-5 days/week. 30 mins doing resistance training with weights like the shake weight and 30 mins of aerobic exercise like jogging, walking, swimming, or biking.

Could be.  : Could be just  deconditioned muscles.  Go slowly.  Lift safely.
