Could be: By aggressive teeth cleaning, i'm assuming deep teeth & gum cleaning (scaling & root planing). Healthy gums do not bleed but if you haven't been flossing properly, regularly & you've just had a deep cleaning, it's not uncommon to have sore gums & bleeding for a couple of weeks. Hopefully, your dentist/hygienist has given you good oral hygiene instructions. If still bleeding after 2 wks, get seen.

Common enough: Tearing of frenulum ( midline attachment of upper lip to gum margin) tears relatively easily when a child falls &amp; hurts his mouth or face. This may lead to an initial burst of blood which quickly stops or  sometimes may ooze for a while. He must have had that so when he woke up he had some staining of his teeth with blood. If this is happening frequently u shd have him checked right away.

i have 3 lumps on right side of neck and 1 in oval shape on right side. they are painless & moveable. during teeth brush they bleed sometimes badely?

Neck?: I am concerned.  You have lumps on your neck that bleeds when you brush your teeth?  Do you mean the lumps are in your mouth?  You may have what's called a pyogenic granuloma...  Please see your dentist.  And see a doctor for lumps by your neck...  That could be serious.

is it normal for bleeding to occur during a teeth scaling/cleaning procedure? also my dentist suggests to do it every 10 days for six sessions for my gingivitis, but i read online that it has to be done only once in six months?

: Bleeding is to be expected when there is gingivitis. Cleaning every 6 months is for people with healthy teeth and gums; more frequent sessions may be necessary with gingivitis. Follow your dentist's advice -- or ask the dentist directly in order to understand better.

It doesn't matter: It doesn't matter if it can be. What is important is what's causing both symptoms? She should be seen by at least a dentist (and possibly a physician if the dentist thinks that appropriate). There is no way to observe, diagnose and guess as to what's actually going on. Sorry.

Gingivitis: Bleeding from the gums is common when brushing. This can be due to gingivitis, or from brushing too vigorously. See your dentist to see if you do have gingivitis, or if you just need to change your brushing technique.

Bacteria: If you are having bleeding from your mouth, it is the gums bleeding being irritated or infected from the effects of bacteria/plaque/tartar. I would recommend you start flossing, even if it makes your gums bleed; it will get better. More importantly, you need to see your dentist right away and he can evaluate your hygiene and gum situation. Good luck.

No: Bleeding anywhere in the body is not normal.   See your dentist for an examination to determine your exact problem and develop a good solution.   You may have gingivitis or periodontal disease which only will get worse if untreated.  World health organization study shows a majority of adults have gum disease!
