Liver biopsy: I believe with history you need a liver biopsy to fully evaluate the damage your liver has undergone.

If they are: both describing the same lesion, MRI with contrast is more specific and accurate in this case.

1.7cm simple liver cyst found 3yr ago. recent us showed 2.2 cm mildly complex liver cyst. some mural thickening or nodularity. should i do a ct or mri?

Your doctor should g: The best guidance should come from the radiologist where you have had prior X-rays and Ultrasound done. But your primary care physician(PCP) has to go speak with a radiologist and ask him to be the guide as to which is best next test to do(I prefer MRI) but I also ask radiologist opinion when in doubt.

just had an mri with and without contrast liver cyst nothing else. ultrasound said slightly increased hepatic echogenicity possible early steatosis why didnt mri pick this up? can mri miss liver cirrhosis or fatty liver? please help me im anxious?

: It will depend on exactly which CT and MRI were used and the protocol they followed.  Discuss with the scanners.

UNLIKELY: A liver cyst is a common finding on ultrasound of this organ. It is fluid filled. Tumors, whether benign or cancerous, are solid.
Hemangiomas are also extremely common findings of liver ultrasound.

6.5x5.5cm multioculated hypodensity nonenhancing liver cyst with no solid mass but with lobulations.  could it be cancer?

Usually not: Most cysts of the liver are not malignant.  There are two types of malignancies in the liver and both are not cystic.  The metastatic tumor from colon or other organ and the primary liver tumor or hepatoma and both solid.

Slow down a bit...: Ok, you have a lot of issues just recently identified. I'm doubtful you have any cancer. Your biggest concern appears to be the ovarian cyst, which is probably benign, but you need to be evaluated by your gyn. The hernia is an elective process, and the liver cyst is probably congenital. Fibroids and nabothian cyst can also be evaluated by your gyn.  Take a breath and make an appointment. Good luck.

had an ultrasound to check gallbladder due to being symptomatic. report noted a liver cyst with septation. i also am living with metastatic breast cancer. is this particular cyst a metastasis and could it explain my symptoms?

More info. : Liver cysts are common, are most often benign and usually asymptomatic. Metastasies are usually solid. But given your history you would like to be sure. If not clearly benign on Imaging you could obtain a biopsy that would reassure you when it comes back benign.

Fluid-filled cyst: Liver cysts are actually quite common and the vast majority are benign. If is is a simple cyst, which looks like a ball filled with fluid, it is usually not serious. There may be 
something about the character of the cyst or something in the rest of your medical history that is prompting your physician to feel it is best to study the fluid in the cyst. Discuss it further with the doc.
