Had an ultrasound to check gallbladder due to being symptomatic. report noted a liver cyst with septation. i also am living with metastatic breast cancer. is this particular cyst a metastasis and could it explain my symptoms?

More info. : Liver cysts are common, are most often benign and usually asymptomatic. Metastasies are usually solid. But given your history you would like to be sure. If not clearly benign on Imaging you could obtain a biopsy that would reassure you when it comes back benign.
