No: Colds are caused by viruses. Colds have no cure and are self limiting. Aim is to make the infant / child comfortable. Febrex plus syrup has paracetamol(safe) an antihistamine called chlorpheniramine( not safe)  and an oral nasal decongestant phenylephrine(not safe). This combination shd be avoided in infants and children. Can cause dryness, sedation, irritability at times and high BP.

Infants, Kids: and adults have the same normal temperature...but it may vary within a RANGE and be different in each individual. Because of occasional bad reactions to aspirin I suggest Acetaminophen Syrup...(Pediatric) FOLLOW DOSAGE RECOMMENDATIONS CAREFULLY! I hope this helps!

MSUD: Some examples of foods high in protein include all types of meat (e.g., chicken, pork, beef, seafood), all types of dairy (e.g., milk, yogurt, cheese, whipped cream, ice cream, etc.), all types of beans and nuts (e.g., soybeans, pinto beans, peanuts, etc.), and eggs. People with MSUD must also learn what foods have some amount of protein and ways to measure how much. Each individual, depending on the severity of their disorder, is given a daily limit of the protein they can eat. It is okay for people with MSUD to eat some protein because, unlike an allergy, the protein will not cause them to have an "allergic" reaction. In fact, people with MSUD must eat some protein every day as everyone needs some in order to get some leucine, isoleucine and valine for growth and development. The trick is not to eat too much. This is done by learning to count and keep track of the amount they consume throughout the day.

No need to return: The concentration found in childrens Acetaminophen can most certainly be used in infants.  The infants concentration is actually currently being phased off of the market.  The amount to be given is weight dependent.  Acetaminophen is dosed at 15mg/kg/ dose.  So, i would need to know childs weight.  A 20 lb baby would get 4 ml every 4- 6 hours.

It depends: It depends upon the mg/kg dose calculated by the physician. Dosage can be between 45 mg/kg (2.5 ml twice a day) to 90 mg/ kg (5.0 ml twice a day)

I would see a Dr.: My concern is that your child may have some breathing issues. I would get your child examined with a doctor for thorough history and physical. I would not recommend any nebulizer treatments unless already prescribed by your doctor.

Do not give.: There are many studies showing that over-the-counter cough medicines do not work for children, and in fact, many can cause side effects in some kids. In my opinion, these medicines do not work and do more harm. I hope you child feels better soon.
