Not approved: Most medications and herbs are not appropriate or FDA approved for infants, and dosing cannot be safely advised. Increasing humidity and keeping your baby well hydrated may lessen the symptoms and to support the body as it heals itself. Prolonged symptoms of fever, cough and congestion should be evaluated by your pediatrician and may require further treatment.
