Halitosis can also be coming from your mouth. Cavities, gum disease, even failing crowns & bridgework can trap bacteria that you cannot keep clean. The odor comes from the acid and toxins that they release. Diet can also play a role.

When is the last time you were examined by a dentist and had your teeth cleaned professionally? I suggest you make an appointment with your dentist and have him/her rule out any problems with your teeth and gums. Once that is completed and you've ruled out any oral conditions, you can concentrate on the other factors that may be causing your halitosis.

Discuss with OB!!: You don't say how pregnant you are, but whether you should be continuing these meds should be among your first questions to your OB and you should be seeing someone immediately, assuming you want to continue with the pregnancy. Lifestyle: There may be some lifestyle issues you can modify to lessen the problems you have with reflux. The chemicals in coffee, tea &amp; some sodas  (caffeine) or it's cousin nicotine (smokers) all keep the stomach entrance from closing tightly. Removing them from your life can help.Not reclining for at least an hour after a meal or large beverage can also.

i was prescribed alprazolam 0.25mg for flight anxiety. i dont take it regularly and asked for this preemptively b/c of a panic i had driving for some reason. is this safe drug? i take dexilant daily, no drug interaction?

: Yes, it is safe to take as needed only. You will depend on it if used daily, i.e. habitual use should be avoided.
There is no interaction with Dexilant.

Dexilant (dexlansoprazole) long term: Dexilant (dexlansoprazole) - the active isomer of Prevacid is approved for treatment up to 8 weeks.   Long term use  - over a year has been associated with bone fractures and osteoporosis.   Electrolyte abnormalities (low magnesium) have also been reported.    I would caution long term use and if needed take the lowest dose and consider having a GI evaluation if symptoms persist.
