Fordyce spots: What you describe are known as Fordyce spots. These are a variant of sebaceous glands (the glands that normally produce sebum and are usually found within hair follicles). Fordyce spots are sebaceous glands without hair follicles. They are present in 80-95% of adults.  They are generally harmless and do not require any treatment. If it is cosmetic concern then see a board certified dermatologist.

4 y/o with bald spot on back of head. scalp seems normal no itching at all but getting bigger.  causes?  pediatrician or dermatology visit in order?

Bald spot: Many possible causes including simply being on his/her back too much. I would advise seeing  the baby's pediatrician first, they should be able to determine the cause and generally you should be able to see your pediatrician a lot sooner than a dermatologist. Good luck

dermatology: i went in to get a diagnosis of lichen planus - keratosis that was size of a nickel. never had this before. not itchy; skin toned. do i have cancer/melanoma? live in florida and no longer sun bath for 4 years now. dr. froze the spot?

what dept would be best to get a recheck for head lice to be sure its gone? dermatology?

You should be able: to look at home to make sure the nits/lice are gone. If you're not sure, then call your own doctor (if for your child, their pediatrician). If you're a teacher, or if this is for your child, the school nurse can help.There are also professional "nitpickers" who just deal with lice and getting rid of lice. A dermatologist is not necessary for this.

does crawling, itching and tingling sensation over head and body can be related some how to dermatology problem or allergy issue? what kind?

Yes and yes.: It can be related to both. You must also consider a stress or anxiety induced itching. If you are extremely depressed, anxious or under extreme stress this can be the cause. If you have no rash it is hard to say what it might be with the information that you have given.
See your doctor for advice.

Bleaching agents: Post inflammatory pigment in the skin especially if you are darked complexioned requires not only treatment with topical agents but sun exposure protection.  Sometimes even special chemical bleaching peels or laser treatments.

I : I suggest you go back to see your dermatologist. You may need a higher dose of the medication, or a change in medication. In addition it's not a bad idea to see an eye specialist (ophthalmologist) for the dark lines in your sclera( white part of eye). There may be other options like laser therapy that may be helpful.

i have ana 1:320 homogenous speckled pattern, raynauds, dilated nail fold capillaries, tiny petechiae on arms, fatigue, aches, dry mouth, sore glands. i have ibd too. my blood count and crp were fine so was discharged but dermatology think autoimmune?

: It is not feasible to provide a meaningful opinion without additional history, physical examination and may be some tests. You likely have an autoimmune disorder.  It would be prudent to see a rheumatologist.

dmd sent me to derm. no idea so did biopsy on white spot on lip/buccal mucosa. 'may be lichen planus'.  is this precancer? no other spots. how treat?

Lichen Planus: Good afternoon;
   The erosive type of Lichen Planus may cause painful sores and ulcers in the mouth. 1 to 5 % of this type of Lichen Planus may turn into oral cancer. no cure for ordinary lichen planus. Often disappears on its own-some medications may speed healing. Antihistamines to relieve itching. a topical corticosteroids to reduce swelling. If symptoms are painful consult dermatologist.
