One more try: I would try the following otc: 1) neutrogena tsal shampoo 2x / week and ketoconazole 1% shampoo 2x/ week. Alternate days and if you wash more, use your shampoo of choice. Leave these on your scalp for 3-5 minutes before rinsing 2) scalpicin twice daily as needed for itching or redness if this doesn't work, see a dermatologist.

Yes: Products containing zinc pyrithione, selenium sulfide, ketoconazole, salicylic acid all help. Some products are neutrogena t-sal, neutrogena t-gel, selsun blue, Nizoral shampoo, dhs shampoo, keralyt. Stronger prescription shampoos require seeing doctor (ie: topical steroid shampoos, urea shampoo).
