i had a mole removed yesterday and the doctor was surprised to find a cyst under my mole. is that normal or bad?

Not sure.: Sounds strange.  Might want to ask your doctor.  Neither cysts nor moles are worrisome and the combination is no different.

Many things: Could be anything from a benign cyst to an infection to a tumor.  If it bothers you in any way, is new or changing, you should get to a doctor to get it checked out.

See your doctor: This string is probably a deep suture coming through the surface of the skin.  The doctor or nurse will simply cut the suture present above the skin. The small hole left by the suture will heal in secondarily with no scarring.

Removal : Typically a cyst or a mole such as described is removed under local anesthesia. General anesthesia is possible yet often not recommended due to the inherent risks of this type of sedation. Talk to your surgeon as to the best type of anesthesia.

Get it removed: You should see your doctor and have an examination of this suspicious lump. I should actually be removed and examined microscopically as it can be a recurrence of the same tumor, possibly it is cancerous(Melanoma). But biopsy is recommended urgently.

went to get it shaved off at 12 yrs, no problem
im 22 & got a cyst near it went to derm she was concerned about the mole said it looked irregular- biopsy it sent to lab
should i be worried?

No sense: If the &quot;mole&quot; was shaved off 10 years ago, how could it be &quot;irregular&quot; now? It was sent to pathology and a report on microscopic analysis will be on the DR&#x27;s desk after 2 or 3 days. Don&#x27;t ask if you should worry. Get the diagnosis from the Dr. My guess is that the original shaving was done to get rid of an annoying nevus sticking up. Only the surface was removed 10 years ago, leaving a flat brown

This can co-exist: A normal pregnacy and a molar pregnacy or cells can coexist.

5 days after skin operation (removal of 1 big cyst from the scalp + 2 moles from back and leg). stitches on with bandaid (except head, only stitches). can my partner take a shower without bandaids and wash his hair? what is the best to do to clean?

Yes: Five days is long enough for the surface of the wound to have sealed. Usual washing with soap and water is fine.

Yes: They're quite common, and are usually tricholemmal cysts.  They occur on the scalp, and are frequently multiple.  They're not harmful, but can be annoying.  They can usually be removed pretty easily in a doctor's office.
