See your dentist: You can place anbesol on the sore area under the denture while you wear it. I would recommend seeing your dentist and asking for a prescription of magic mouthwash. It can be made at the pharmacy and contains a (1:1:1) ratio of viscous lidocaine, benadryl, (diphenhydramine) and maalox liquids. Also this is an indication that the denture may need an adjustment. See your dentist as soon as you can.

Yes (in general): Your dentist should provide home care instructions, but in general denture cleaning tablets are ok for these type of retainers.  There are a number of "brands" of invisialign type retainers so you should really check with your dentist.  Never soak it in mouthwash--the alchohol in most mouthwashes will ruin it.

It can: But the denture will not fit right, and it will have no suction to hold it in place. You will need to constantly use denture adhesive. Many patients function this way. An alternative is to place dental implants which will hold the denture in place.

Stain: Glutaraldehyde base disinfectants can stain the resin base.  They will permeate the pores present and leave a stain within the pores.  The glutaraldehyde may also be released into the oral cavity when the resin base appliance is returned to the mouth for use.

Easy: There is the quick and dirty why that may take as little as two appointments and there is the time tested 5-7 appointments that is required to give you optimal results.  The world leaders in denture construction still take 5-7 appointments shortcuts can lead to terrible results.  Complete denture construction is still an art not a science.
