You : You need to see your doctor. Even though some studies have shown that drinking cranberry juice can help prevent urinary tract infections, once you have the infection, you need to be treated with antibiotics. If you are having worsening pain, it may not only be a worsening infection, but it is also important to rule out kidney diseases such as a stone or nephritis or another type of infection such as a yeast infection or sexually transmitted disease. These may need other treatments besides antibiotics or different antibiotics.

A : A yeast infection is possible however your symptoms are, (or rather were) more consistent with a urinary tract infection. Yeast vaginitis typically causes a clumpy yellow discharge and vulvovaginal itching. I hope you are better, if not i would recommend a urine culture and gyn exam.

Any : Any discharge during pregnancy that is "uncomfortable" should be brought to the attention of your ob/gyn. If it is in fact yeast then it will need to be treated with prescription strength medication. The issue here is that a concrete diagnosis needs to be made since you are pregnant. Infection can be harmful while pregnant if untreated. Lastly cranberry juice does not cure yeast infections, and in large amounts will only raise your blood suga, r which should be avoided during pregnancy.

Needs testing: A chronic yeast infection (and one that is resistant to appropriate treatment) is concerning and warrants further testing (to make sure it is in fact yeast and not another condition such as bacterial vaginosis or an STD if sexually active).  A swab of the vaginal area is the best way to diagnose.  Chronic yeast infections can indicate other systemic health problems which should be investigated

Unfortunately, most blended cranberry juice drinks on the market are very high in sugar, negating these benefits.  Pure cranberry is sold in capsules at health food stores and are generally well tolerated.

Cranberry can help some people reduce the risk of recurrent urinary tract infections.  Drinking cranberry juice shouldn't hurt and may help.  If your symptoms are not improving, should be evaluated by your physician.
