Yes: Cranberries contain proanthyocyanidins (PACs) which can help to prevent urinary tract infections (UTI's) in women with recurrent UTI's. They also have antioxidant, anti-inflammatory & anti-carcinogenic effects. Remember however that it is high in sugar.

Can be: Has lots of vitamin c - which is a good thing - the acidity can help reduce frequency of urinary tract infections - but lots of cranberry juices have lots of calories and sugar which can be very bad for you. So, moderation and avoiding the sweetened juices seems the best way to enjoy.
