That is used as: A preventive for a urinary tract infection. Cranberry juice contains a lot of sugar which may feed the yeast.

Yeast infection: Fluconazole (Diflucan) should be effective. Cranberry juice will do nothing for yeast infection, but can be quite tasty. Good luck.
