You : You need to see your doctor. Even though some studies have shown that drinking cranberry juice can help prevent urinary tract infections, once you have the infection, you need to be treated with antibiotics. If you are having worsening pain, it may not only be a worsening infection, but it is also important to rule out kidney diseases such as a stone or nephritis or another type of infection such as a yeast infection or sexually transmitted disease. These may need other treatments besides antibiotics or different antibiotics.

Cranberry Juice: can be used to help prevent a UTI. However, it will not actually treat an on-going UTI. Must use unsweetened Cranberry juice. Need to see your doctor.
