No: Topical Hydrocortisone cream is unlikely to have any benefit on a bartholin's cyst. Try warm compresses or baths. If the cyst gets larger or more painful with any signs of infection, go see your gynecologist as it may require antibiotics or incision and drainage.

Yes.: Yes, you may try over the counter cortisone cream; an ointment may be better because it is stickier and stays on the skin longer. You can also try an over the counter anti histamine like generic Benadryl, (diphenhydramine) Claritin, Zyrtec, or Allegra. If none of these work in the next 48 hours, consider seeing a health professional. Hope that helps!

It is not okay.: Steroids during pregnancy and could cause quite a lot more harm than benefit. In general we try and avoid most medications while pregnant. So either work on getting pregnant or work on getting the cystic acne cleared up. I suggest either one but not both together.

Once get infected: need physician help to Rx antibiotics , possible drainage  (of pus ) .  Non intervention leads to pain suffering and complications due to infection . See your doctor for immediate help and long term solution to prevent attacks in future.

: Two types of cysts that occur on the vagina are inclusion cysts&amp;Bartholin cysts. Your gynecologist is best to examine and advise you. At this time your symptoms don't suggest an infected cyst however.

Maybe: Most likely the cyst will pop once injected and will go away for a while. However, there is high chance for it to come back. My experience getting it removed has better results, but injections or aspiration of the cyst works as well.

Surgery: A baker's cyst is often the result of the problem and not the cause of it, especially if it is relatively small. Make sure the problem is not an underlying arthritis. Surgery is an option if the cyst is the major issue.

Improvement in pain: The cortisone should help decrease swelling an inflammation in your wrist. Typically it takes about 3-4 days for the cortisone to take effect, but it can take 2-3 weeks.
