It is not okay.: Steroids during pregnancy and could cause quite a lot more harm than benefit. In general we try and avoid most medications while pregnant. So either work on getting pregnant or work on getting the cystic acne cleared up. I suggest either one but not both together.

"Waiting Awhile": Hi, I'm guessing your question here was "waiting awhile" because pregnancy safety questions are often times more of an art than a science. It's easy to say "we are unsure, but rather safe than sorry" and MUCH more difficult to say, "In my practice, I have found it safe and I think you will be ok" I recommend creating a powerful GYN relationship that can reassure you through the unknown.
