Infection? Allergy?: At your age of 22, common causes of pain or burning int he urethra or with urination are yeast infections, herpes, and other STDs. Allergy or irritation from perfumes, feminine products, etc also are possible. Keep working with your doctor and make sure she knows your sexual history. Good luck!

UTI: You could very well have a urinary tract infection. See your doc to have history and physical and probably submit urine for analysis and possibly repeat urethral culture. There are non std bacteria that can cause this.

: I am sorry you have been on two courses of antibiotics.  Even in the presence of a bacterial infection, flushing the urinary tract with lots of clear liquids (need not be cranberry juice) can dislodge many problems  Meanwhile would consider a urologist.  UTI is less common in men.

He : He needs to be seen and get cultures taken for gonorrhea, chlamydia, and herpes.  He should be seen at an office immediately.  Always use a condom to prevent infection.

Prostatitis : Prostatitis or urethritis are a possibility.  You should have a medical evaluation to test for these possibilities.  Your symptoms are concerning, especially that your urine appears thick and that you are having discharge from your penis.  Please have a medical evaluation.  If you develop fever, pain, or vomiting then you must be seen as an emergency.

Yes you can it: is only the same medicine as in some antifungal creams that you would put on your skin.  However, if the Monistat does not work then you need to get to a healthcare provider to get checked for infection like from a STD.  It is unusual for men to get yeast infections . Here are some...: Under healthy normal state, the urine and urethral lining (mucosa) are compatible each other, and we feel comfortable in passing urine. If there is any change in urine ingredients and / or in urethral mucosa with inflammation, both become incompatible so we feel burning while urine passing through urethra. The most common example is UTI with STD-related urethritis, overcosuming spicy foods, etc.
