A member asked:

Can use of monistat topically in men, on the head of the penis, cause burning sensation/skin sensitivity and urethral irritation?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Yes you can it: is only the same medicine as in some antifungal creams that you would put on your skin. However, if the Monistat does not work then you need to get to a healthcare provider to get checked for infection like from a STD. It is unusual for men to get yeast infections . Thanks for trusting in HealthTap.
