Cold sore : Your doctor can prescribe valtrex (valacyclovir). Brief supplementation w lysine 1, 000mg orally 3x a day at the onset, can also ^ healing. * for lip: melissa officinalis or lemon balm (cream) has been shown in european studies to help expedite healing of cold sores.  Your dermatologist can also provide laser treatments.

Virus: It could be a virus, but then again your wisdom tooth may be erupting and you're pinching your cheek between the tooth and your jaw. Must be seen in person to diagnose correctly. Please call your local dentist.

Could be: Make sure you are maintaining good to excellent oral hygiene.  When you have an outbreak and tissues are tender, one tends to be "gentle" and not thorough in one's oral hygiene - further contributing to the problem.  Consult your dentist or physician if the problem persists.

Nicotine reaction: You may have an allergic reaction to nicotine gum or spray. Tingling lips could be symptomatic of other medical conditions. See your pcp for proper diagnosis and guidance re continuing nicotine gum or spray. Hope this helps.

i have some small white/yellowish bumps on the inside, back of my lip. in between my gums and lip line. painful, bleed sometimes. canker or cold sore?

Aphthous ulcer: It's most likely a canker sore.  It is painful, I get them sometimes when I eat acidic foods.  You can put some oil of clove on it to numb it.  It will burn a bit when you put it on but will go away within a few minutes.  If your dentist has a soft tissue laser that can also help with the healing process.  It should go away in about a week.  Hope this helps!!!

Sounds like: Viral infection from your description , did either you had any open sores or blisters when that happened? An examination and a cutler may be needed.
