Reducing scar tissue: Scar tissue massage after gently heating in tub or shower, with a creamy lotion, will gradually reduce stiffness.  Massage should be relatively deep and slow, going different directions -do circles, lines, opposing lines, sideways to original direction.  5 minutes 2 to 3 times a day over several months is normal, may require more if deeper thicker scar.  Don't rub until red or irritated

had foot in  boot for torn fascia. 4 weeks later & injury is healed but have pain in other parts of foot.custom orthotics on order.what do i do for pain?

Torn fascia: Antiinflammatories are a good suggestion
alleve, ibuprofen, or advil. Or ice
your foot and ankle is weak from being in the boot for 4 weeks. 
Theraband exercises could help strengthen your ankle coupled with range of motion exercises.

Obturator entrapment: Yes open release is carried out more commonly.  In your area i would seek out a neurosurgeon or sports medicine specialist familiar with the diagnosis and treatment.

Lipoma not new 90Ds: It is unlikely that a new lipoma formed over a 90 day period. It is more likely to be due to a traumatic hematoma with resolving fibrosis or could even be a hernia. The only way to establish a definitive diagnosis will likely require diagnostic imaging and possible surgery.

EMG,MRI,Nerve block: Those three test could diagnose this problem.
We start with clinical suspicion
order MRI it will show wasting of the adductor muscle.
Emg could also could diagnose it. 
Finally we could do nerve block to confirm the diagnosis.

Refer to answer: Plantar fascists rarely happens as a results of sports. In our practice we have seen as a results of other condition the most common cause is gout( uric acid needs to be below 6.0) . The are other causes, diabetes, ra. Ice and stretching could help. Rarely you may need a cortison shot.

Cardio Mix: If you adipose tissue that you'd like to lose then consider an increase in cardio and a balanced diet. However, do not always do the same exercise or you will increase your risks for stress injuries. Mix things up with running, biking, swimming, or circuit training. Ultimately you need to burn more than you consume.

how do i know if i tore my plantar fascia?  would i have to have a cast if i did?

Very painful: A ruptured or torn plantar fascia is very very painful and not really hard to diagnose. It is a sudden onset, a lot of bruising and difficult to put any weight on it.  There are, however degrees of this injury; complete, partial, micro, even herniations.
Ruptures can be treated with a non weight bearng cast or open repair ( and non weight bearing cast).  Hopefully you just have fasciitis.

could i have torn my plantar fascia even though there is no bruising?

Unlikely: Generally, a tear that severe is caused from injury and the swelling and bruising is common from plantar fascia rupture.  However, it's is just pain and swelling, you may just have plantar fasciitis (inflammation of ligament attachment to heel).
