Check w/ur insurance: Since you have Cigna, call them or go to their website (look on your insurance card) to see who they list as accepting payment from them. With that list in mind, you can then ask your FamilyDoc for his/her opinion. This applies to anyone w/any sort of insurance.

GI; Cigna: Contact cigna for list of gastroenterologists in your desired area who are in their system. Contact the docs listed to find out their experience with the problem(s) for which you would be seeing them. County/state medical society may also be of help.

Circ Coverage: Circumcision is covered by insurance companies for the most part if they are for medical and not cosmetic reasons in older children.

Your Doctor: Your doctor  whom you are working with and who is referring you to get the tms , usually is the one who gets the pre authorization and who makes the case for your insurance to pay for it (if that is in your plan to start with) . Also he will have a better idea about which local centers rank higher and he will recommend one for you.

Unlikely: There are dozens of health care insurers across the country.It is doubtful that all will be represented in any state, or that all will offer each level of plan specified by the elaborate requirements of the program.At the present time the lowest cost plans may also have substantial up front co-pays and out of pocket deductables that will be surprising to those looking for the promised "great" fix.

They don't either: Health care avaialabilty and cost to individuals vary the world around. Many developing countries provide subsidized health care for their citizens. Many also depend upon the generosity of other govermnments or ngo's for funding. The quality and availabltiy of healthcare varies tremedously country to country.  Citizens in the usa who want subsidized health care need to work with their governement.
